Bistre Revenant returns to her childhood home a new witch. Welcome to the first chapter of her mighty reign.
With a well-established Pyromancer in the house her reign is of permanent summer- for better or for worse. One drawback is that rain fall has seriously decreased and that presents momumental problems for Bistre's big brother, Nightshade. And with so much sun the threat to her mothers life also emboldens.
New wardrobe!
Perdah! Thanks, Nightshade, for the new digs. Bistre snags a job in Natural Science. I'm getting all the easy deaths out of the way first. It will leave me with fewer options later on in the story! Thus presenting a bigger challenge.
Why do you look so happy?
Oh dang. If I brought that home from school I'd be pretty darn happy, too.
Yeah you do.
Auch! Lucky dog.
His first kiss.
Alright move along aspiration fodder- I mean very pretty aspiration fodder.
Alright, one more kiss as big sister comes home from work.
With this little gem! Woohoo! Not yet though, because I still need a family death. There's too much temptation now that Nightshade and Vermillions lives hang so precariously to the edge.
Bistre takes over looking after the witch's garden. We really should do something about the flock of flamingoes, it looks like an army formation back there.
Nightshade tops politics, his life time want, and not a career going toward the workaholics anon challenge.
He and his baby sister Bistre go out to celebrate and make fun of their mother.
While the place gets a revamp.
Bistre needs to get started on baby-making herself.
So after she calls up Dominic, she hops into a cab.
And meets him in front of the photobooth at King's Gardens.
Which they get into.
And make love in. I know, it's like my favorite way to make babies these days. I don't know whats wrong with me.
"Thanks for all the fun, baby, I gotta jet."
Then comes back with her mom and takes pictures in teh same photobooth. I really don't know whats wrong with me.
Anyways, back home, Nightshade enjoys the new garden.
And the flamingoes enjoy a more natural atmosphere.
Bistre picks up a Bookshelf of Amazing while searching for her career de jour.
Which is Music! Hurray, she got the job.
And celebrated by going out with Nightshade again.
Oh, dear, Ochres been ignored this whole chapter so far. He needs mom hugs.
Nightshade passes out from no sun.
The boys share some sparkly omelets.
I call in to see how things are going.
"Don't worry, Mauricette, I'm pregnant. Throwing up all over the place and needs decaying like no ones business. Thanks for the check-up."
Hey that's what I'm here for. Bistre has quite the photo line-up.
Nightshade finally gets his sun fix.
And the house gets a junker to fix up.
Hm, what are you trying to tell me, Bistre? You want Dominic to die?
But I already have someone in mind.
I think I'll send the boys to college after this season.
There she goes. Bistre bumps into her secend trimester.
Omen gossips about it to Nightshade right in front of her.
Aw, Nightshades been having such a hard tiem of it these days.
Bistre blithely ignores him. You love him! Just so you know!
He cares for your unborn!
Anyways, someone needs to work on the old junker, might as well be you. Stinky mother-to-be.
Omen teen tops Gamer.
And it's Ochre's birthday! Look its me!
Happy Birthday Omen! Omen's grumpy 'cause he didn't get no birthday party. Wait, did he? I don't even remember. It was like two chapters ago.
And while everyone got to mingling-
I danced alone in the corner. -sigh-
Anyways, everyone seemed to be enjoying theirselves.
Except Nightshade who was busy making Ochre a new outfit. Poor guy.
I feel bad, I tell Gypsy Lew and Andrea Tsang, who's taking a break from mothering a peasant family on the Silk Road. In the last rendition he was father to three children, two of which were Naenae's.
That seems to kill the party. I don't know what happened! Everything was going so well- then I ruined Bistre's first Summer Solstice bash. Sorry, Bistre, sorry, Ochre.
Bistre took it pretty hard. Nighshade didn't. It wasn't his party.
The next morning Bistre played in some trees.
And Ochre brought home a girl~
What?! I didn't take any pictures of their date?! They had their first kiss!
Well, I guess Nightshade going into thirst failure is more important.
And passing out.
And Bistre topping Music and going into labor.
With a boy this time! Blagh!
Vermillions very happy. I'm not. The baby was Lithe last time, a girl! Grah! I can't name a boy Lithe!
After much nameberry-ing the boy's name is now Legion.
Bistre is very happy to be a mother.
Vermillion tops Logic.
Ochre spends soem time with his new nephew.
Bistre asks Todd Midlock on a date.
They make out.
Rose Dai is upset.
Because Bistre made love in the photobooth again! you have a double bed, you know, you CAN have sex at home.
They had sex ALL DAY. It took like twelve times for her to get pregnant a second time. What even?!
Apparently Todd likes a little bang for his buck. It was a date he'll surely remember.
Oh, there's Ochre's first kiss. I knew I got it! What's it doing all the way back here?
And with Nightshade still refusing to die- he's osmosing right now- so ends the season. Thanks for reading. Might throw out a small chapter for Omen and Ochre's college years. Let's hope it isn't as ridiculous as last time.
