Welcome back to the Silk Road. Here for another rotation, eh? I keep 'em coming back. So this is the Ramaswami Estate.
And here is the happy couple, Sanjay and Priya Ramaswami.
While Sanjay heads to work in the wrong career track, Priya's visited by the Peasant Cleo Shikibu. And she's expecting!
We have no choice but to let it slide. Priya feels merciful when Cleo subjucates herself to Priya.
Priya and Cleo share some vada pao and get to know each other.
And when Sanjay returns from work Cleo bows to him as well.
After her visit, the happy couple snuggle in for their first night as nobles on the scenic Silk Road.
In the morning, they're off to Takemizu Village.
I forget what this resort is called, but it has hot springs and music and a tea-... table? I'll definitely be sending the Wan's here, too.
Sanjay is happy that the locals know his station. He's also happy that his emporer showed him how to bow.
And Priya is eager to learn everything there is to know from the locals.
They enjoy the cuisine, which is certainly different from their own.
And although they don't join in with the smustle, they had a good time laughing at the tourists who do.
Sanjay runs into the ninja! Come on, Courage, don't let me down!
Yay! Sanjay guessed right!
The ninja shares his secrets to the soon-to-be General Ramaswami!
While Priya chases butterflies.
She has no idea why, but Priya has been so hungry while on vacation!
Sanjay has been waiting two days for this moment. A Local FINALLY starts preforming Tai Chi!
Sanjay runs over and begins mimicking her, and other locals join in, too!
And by the time Sanjay has to head back to the hotel there's a whole crowd of Tai Chi'ing going on! I like this way better than the smustles.
"Omigawd, Sanjay, the smell of that chili is making me effing sick."
The chili made him sick, too, I guess. Don't eat the chili, people!
Anyway, Takemizu Mission Complete! Back to the Silk Road!
Where Sanjay perfects his Tai Chi'ing.
And throws up chili.
When Priya returns home she gets to work on her flower arranging skills. Following the Empress' example.
She's surprised to learn that Priya was so hungry while they were on vacation because she's expecting! Hurray heirs!
Peasant Contrary visits Sanjay to declare his allegience. and he'll heed to call to fight should Sanjay require him. By this time Sanjay snags that military job- Woo!
So he gets cracking on those body skills.
Priya is soon heavy with child. My goodness, does she glow.
Into labor we goooooooo!
To a boy! Yay!
Say hello to Ravi Ramaswami. Suuu cute! Daw babies. All the babies!
Priya is exhausted. Developing flower arranging skills and providing childcare is rough! She has a new appeciation for her Empress. Priya hasn't even had time to paint portraits of Sanjay and her.
Ravi, you're adorbs, but you're a lot of work!
The housework has gone undone, the newspapers ae piling up and the bills are starting to come in colors of pink and red.
Sanjay must attend to these duties. And he does so without a word. He knows how hard his wife has been working.
The Ramaswami's are visited by the Wan's, the other Noble family.
Hurray for autonamously classic dancing with your spouse!
Don't you love it when noble families are actually in love? These two are encouragable!
But they do have a sit down and pay attention to their hostess. Priya is happy to have some visitors. Her social bar was getting super low as of late.
Not that she doesn't love Ravi. She does.
And when Sanjay returns home he teaches the Wan's Tai Chi! Yay! The Wan's already have a leg up when I get to them!
Melissa also learns Tai Chi. She's one of Sanjay's Lieutenants.
They spend the whole afternoon learning Tai Chi from General Ramaswami.
In the evening it's time to say goodbye to their neighbors.
Because it's Ravi's birthday! Squee! He looks like his mom!
And he's already in a bear suit. Dyaw~ But his parents' aspiration isn't very high. No smart milk right away, I'm afraid.
"Blugh. Potty training is teh worst."
Nice muscles, Sanjay! -whistles provocatively-
Alright folks, we're nearing the end of the week. In fact, I think Ravi and Setsuna are the same age.
I can't get over those muscles. -stares shamelessly-
