Hello everyone, welcome to the last chapter of Revenent, my OWBC. We hope you liked the ride and the stories and the polls. The hula zombies have come to usher a great passing.
Death is unusually festive in his pink lei.
Omen Revenant is passing away from old age.
He lived a full life, unlike everyone else in this challenge.
And he can rest in peace knowing his family will thrive and be looked after.
His grand daughters are becoming their own women. Free to make mistakes.
And fall in love. And we can say goodbye to this lot and its fine addition to the Family Revenant.
A strange turn of events lead to Proxy becoming the Revenant heir. And we can send him on to college.
Our Forrest Townhouse was converted into a Dormitory.
But he's not alone. His brother's Onyx and Neo are going to college with him.
We must remind Proxy that college isn't all fun and games. He is to seek his purpose here and discover his path as his forebears have. Proxy feels he isn't up to the task. It should have been Onyx. But he is told that while his brothers may be wonderful, he is the one to have been chosen. However we are glad he has such fine company as he journeys on his path of self discovery.
Proxy is drawn to the powers of light. His main tutelage is under Brooke Ajjanagadde, a graduate student under the infallible high witch and her teachers aide.
They are both bewitched by the other.
His other professor is an earth spirit. Proxy, like Vermillion, is to take up gardening to help him better understand the world.
Proxy is a quick study.
But his interests, romantic and academic, lie in the white magic.
He is eager to begin his studies.
And to begin a relationship with the teachers aide.
When he can't be near her he studies his tomes.
His brother, Neo, however, has found a fun friend to share his days with. The llama.
Under his costume, the llama is quite adorable.
They are very good friends.
Proxy is a Junior now and ready to begin his serious studies up at the college.
His library, the Palace of Neverending Light. Or something.
Proxy has earned his robes.
And received a special gift for his hard work from Professor Landchild, the Infallibly Good and Kind and Nurturing.
Proxy is now blessed of the ways of light.
But his work is only just beginning. As blessed of the light, Proxy has many obligations.
His works for the library had earned him a high place in the publishing field.
And while his great grandmother and grandmother spread evil through out this land, Proxy was beginning to enlist his own aides to fight that evil.
However, not by violence. Proxy is well known to be a pacifist.
His charges are enlisted to both protect the ways of the good and encourage those around them to rely on kindness and empathy; to show charity and honesty; and to be accepting and supportive.
Their lives as soldiers of the light will be full of hardship as they offer help where it is needed, sup the hungry, nurture the young, teach unwaveringly and tend the ill. But all are willing to do these good things for their people.
Being so busy it's rare for him to enjoy the dormitory and the company of Neo and Onyx. The occasional visit keeps him well-grounded. He is eager to learn any news of their lives.
And is delighted that Onyx has favored one of his good witches.
But back in Brill bad things stir.
The dead show no mercy, not even to the chosen family.
Uncle Roan is viciously attacked.
The stress of this is wearing on his health.
And he can take no more.
Collapsing from extreme fright, he cannot go on. Legion is much agrieved.
The dead mean to rule the land. They must be stopped. But how?
With the power of love.
Taking a cue from his brothers, Proxy prepares for the fight of his life.
And after a last kiss from his woman.
He's ready.
Joining him on his righteous quest is Neo, the Brave.
He has shown fearlessness and courage. He will be a good ally.
And brother Onyx joins the fight. His charisma, guile and protective nature toward his little brothers offers a strong weapon against the powers of evil.
And though Proxy is humble and though he is afraid of the troubles ahead.
He knows he can not stand by while the dead roam free and lay reckage to his ancestral home. He is powerful and he is blessed and he will defeat the forces of evil.
And so a new adventure lies before the family Revenant. Their futures unknown, the road perilous, but their family strong, and their hearts pure.
